what should i say YES/NO?

Today one of ma fren said dat he sometimes feel we shud dare to say NO...well i hv often pondered over this thing n came to a conclusion dat its rilly imp to say NO wen u actually cant afford to say yes in order to keep at bay such convoluted circumstances. it all happens cuz we are in a habit of lying to each other n also to ourselves.

"A little sincerity is a dangerous thing, and a great deal of it is absolutely fatal" - Oscar Wilde

when i read dis statement it rilly stirred sumthin inside me!..we live in a fake world n everythin is full of sham...

The most painful and hurtful thing u can do to someone doesnt necessarily involves deception; it usually involves telling the truth. Typically, the best way to hurt a person is by being completely honest - tell him or her that he or she doesn want to hear. To put it mildly, the truth can be used as a "weapon of destruction" in our close relationships.

And its so ironical dat we are happy and feel close to our friends wen v dont hv ta acknowledege such painful, hurtful truths. As long as v r nt aware dat people are hiding things, ignorance can be blissful.

On the other hand wen v really want to hurt someone, v often say wat we really think wen v r no longer concerned about keeping a relationship intact, the truth comes out fast n furious n it stings. Deception is not a luxury but sometimes lying is absolutely necessary. No one cud stand to hear everything. And deception is often required becuz it allows people to share their lives with each other while avoiding difficult issues which cannot alwayz be discussed away.

Make no mistake about it, telling the truth is necessary in a close relationship but being too honest about ur feelings can land u in a soup as sometimes it causes more problem den doin ne gud.
